Fortunately for me I had on hand some of the Birth Support Library. I spent many hours reading some of the fantastic journals that Birth Support subscribes to. So many inspirational stories and interesting articles: a great way to find out how others in our country are achieving loving, empowering natural births, and finding ways to heal those that haven't gone to plan. One very beautiful and oft quoted quote is "Healing the earth through healing birth". We really feel that this is a very under utilised part of our service. We have back issues of our own journals, plus journals from around the country and some books covering topics such as natural birthing, active birth, infertility, surviving the loss of a child and some children's books.
